Meetings
EQUITY RELEASE is one of the options for home owners to raise a sum of money using a percentage of their house or apartment value as collateral. This session will be pf particular interest to retired people who own their own homes and wish to obtain a cash sum.
A free meeting will be held in the Crown Centre, Devizes, on 17th February at 2.30 pm. The speaker will be Mr Ray Brown, a Financial Adviser.

FIRE SAFETY in the HOME. A member of the Wilts. Fire & Rescue Dept. will give a presentation on basic Fire and Safety Precautions that are of relevance to all home owners.
A free meeting will be held in the Crown Centre, Devizes, on 20th April at 2.30 pm. The speaker will be Ms Dottie Avenell.

HEAR TODAY GONE TOMORROW. A hospital audio department Consultant and Hearing Aid Specialist who will discuss and offer advice regarding all matters related to hearing in general, and to those with impaired hearing in particular.
A free meeting will be held in the Crown Centre, Devizes, on 15th June at 2.30 pm. The speaker will be Dr. David Read.

BI-MONTHLY MEETINGS are held on the third Friday of each alternate month. Refreshments are arranged by different groups. All members and guests are welcome. Following is a list of speakers for the next few bi-monthly meetings. Due to the significant increase in attendance at Bi-monthly meetings we are rapidly outgrowing the Bowls Club and the Committee has decided that we may, in future, use the Wyvern Club. Please watch for information in the Newsletter.

General Interest Meetings. A number of additional meetings of general interest will be held during the coming year. All are scheduled for the third Friday of the month to be held in the Crown Room at the Crown Centre, commencing at 2.30 pm. The aim is to provide sessions which hopefully will provide information and advice on subjects of interest which will be pertinent to members. There will be no charge for entry and they will be open to all members. None of these meetings will be held in August and December.

Coffee Mornings are held on every 4th Friday of each month, except during the summer months. This is an informal gathering normally held in the Crown Centre and is open to all U3A members and anyone showing interest in becoming a member. There will be no coffee morning during December 2011.
