Small Hall, Nursteed Centre
Leader: Chris Lewis; John Weller
The Computing group meets in the small hall of the Nursteed Centre 9 times a year on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 10am. The Group does not meet in July, August or December.
The Windows Computer Group meetings are cancelled until further notice, although we are
holding meetings via Zoom at the usual time.
Our meetings are aimed at all levels from beginner to expert – we all learn something. We currently have about 12 members regularly attending for a charge of £3 each meeting to cover room hire and refreshment costs. New members are always welcome.
The meetings consist of two 50 minute sessions, usually hosted by John Weller, with a coffee break in between. Most months the first session deals with a specific topic and the second includes a general Q and A session. Advance notice on queries is appreciated in order to give a more considered response.
The Group is probably of most interest to members who have a basic knowledge of using a computer with Windows 7, 8 or 10 and can create word documents, download photos etc. use e-mail and access web sites.
If anyone has a specific subject that they would be prepared to present, or would like John to present, please tell us at the next meeting.
SUGGESTIONS for possible future topics always welcome.
