Geology

Our meetings cover all aspects of Geology, including presentations and videos, with a refreshment break half way through. Each meeting has a £1.50 charge.

Curiosity is all you need, no prior knowledge of Geology is required.  We also produce a weekly newsletter to keep up with events and information, and have an extensive library of books, maps and CD/DVD’s.

We welcome new members, so either ring or email me if you would like more information, or just turn up. If you would like to hear one of our talks, but not commit, you are welcome to join us.

Our program is very varied, and may change if something Geological happens in the world; The Strait of Hormuz, a case in point. We have also looked at Volcanos around the world and Understanding Crude Oil.
