Moved to England in the early 70’s and has worked in translations, healthcare, nursing and pharmaceutical research, in London and in Surrey. She came to Devizes 2008, where she joined the committee of the Patient Participation Group at her local Surgery, who very fortunately introduceherme to the local U3A group and activities.
She has been a U3A committee member since 2009, Group Leader Coordinator for 3 years, Publicity for a year and First Aid Coordinator since 2012, arranging Emergency Life Support training sessions for the members – an issue close to her heart.
Finding and joining the U3A entirely changed her life and U3A membership has given her so much support, confidence, company, knowledge and extraordinary friendships.
