We meet every Friday in the Sports Club Car Park, just off London Road, at 9.20 am and share cars to the start of the walk. Those living near a particular walk can go there directly. Walks are between 4 and 6 miles long with a coffee break around half way and maybe a lunch stop on longer walks (we may even stop off for a pub lunch!).
Our recent walks have been around Bishops Cannings, Pear Tree Hill and West Woods to see the bluebells. We have had a day trip to Portishead to visit a member of our group who has recently relocated and wanted us to see her new home and surrounding area. We stayed for lunch at a local Fish Restaurant. Tony kindly led a historical walk around Larkhill / Stonehenge which was well supported.
