Nina Woolrych, the group leader, says there is room for a couple more people in this group.
The group has just finished reading ‘Death on the Nile’ by Agatha Christie. Although this was fun, we felt we would prefer plays with more substance in the future.
The next two plays are ‘Mrs Warren’s Profession’ by Shaw, which were chosen after seeing a wonderful live-streaming starring Imelda Staunton and her daughter, and ‘Living Together’ by Alan Ayckbourn.
After that, we are considering reading bits of ‘Hamlet’ followed by ‘Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead’ by Tom Stoppard who died recently..
