We have just finished our first foray into Zoom play reading which, once we sorted the technical hitches, went very well and it was lovely to see them. Two of our group do not have a computer, so I simply gave them a copy of the play and they were going to sit down at the same time as us, with a cup of coffee and read the play – with us in spirit at least and a wonderful suggestion by one of them. It was a short amusing play by AA Milne, called Wurzel-Flummery, which I got from the Third Age Trust website.
We have pencilled in our next meeting, via Zoom again, for 25th November. The playset service at the library is due to reopen in November, so here’s hoping.
