Leader: Christine Cutting
This is a small group which meets once a month to discuss a book, which has been chosen by a member of the group. Different forms of fiction have been chosen in the past, ranging from the classics to modern fiction. In the meeting people try to apply the theme of the book to their own experiences of life.
We would like to welcome new members to the group and the contact details of the leader are in the Newsletter.
Throughout lockdown several members have kept in touch using e-mail lists of questions.
When we can meet again indoor then this will be used. Until then, we shall meet in the garden if the weather is kind but revert to e-mail questions if there is any chance of inclement weather. If you intend to attend any meeting then please e-mail before to check it is on.
The meetings take place on the 4th Thursday of the month. The books we shall discuss are:
May The Familiars by Stacey Halls
June The Summer of Impossible Things by Rowan Coleman
July The World at my Feet by Catherine Isaac
