Leader: Christine Cutting
This is a small group which meets once a month to discuss a book, which has been chosen by a member of the group. Different forms of fiction have been chosen in the past, ranging from the classics to modern fiction. In the meeting people try to apply the theme of the book to their own experiences of life.
We would like to welcome new members to the group and the contact details of the leader are in the Newsletter.
The Leader’s house is not big enough to invite people to meet here with suitable social distancing in place so we shall continue to communicate through e-mail.
For the past few months several of us have read the same book and then answered some questions on it, mainly about thoughts that give rise due to our circumstances.
Questions will be sent out at the beginning of October on The King’s Sister by Anne O’Brien and then the next set of questions will be sent out at the beginning of November on Yellow Crocus by Laura Ibrahim.
If anybody else would like to become part of our group then please contact me by e-mail and I shall include you. As to how we continue after this will depend upon Government advice.
