The Spanish group continues via virtual meetings every other Monday. Our activities normally include tackling a simple Spanish crossword, reading a comic strip, also an article of current interest from a Spanish newspaper or magazine, and usually ends with a quarter of an hour or so of random chat among ourselves with the aim of building confidence in the use of the spoken word.
We are usually joined by Maria, a native Spanish speaker who assists us with our pronunciation and listening skills.
We could accommodate a few more members at present. Anyone wishing to make contact can do so via the leader or any of the existing members.
