This is a French Renaissance style chateau built in the 1870’s by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild. Amongst many things to see in the house is a collection of English portraits, Dutch Old Masters and French decorative arts. In the the garden the highlights include the Victorian Parterre and the ornate Rococo style Aviary.
